SSC CGL 2022 Post Preference notice
The candidates may please refer to the
Notice of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2022 (CGLE-2022)
published by the Commission on its website on 17.09.2022. The Staff
Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination
(Tier-I), 2022 from 01.12.2022 to 13.12.2022 in the Computer Based Mode.
The result of Tier-I was declared on 09.02.2023. Subsequently, Commission
conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2022 from
02.03.2023 to 07.03.2023 in the Computer Based Mode.
Before the declaration of final result, Option-cum-Preference(s) for
post(s)/ department(s) are required to be submitted by those candidates who
have appeared in Tier-II examination. Accordingly, all candidates, who have
appeared in Tier-II, are advised to submit their Option-cum-Preference for
post(s)/ department(s) for CGLE-2022 through their respective ‘CANDIDATE
LOGIN’ on the website of SSC (Headquarters) i.e., https://ssc.nic.in
, wherein a tab for submission of Option-cum-Preference(s) for post(s)/
department(s) will be activated which will remain active during the period
from 27.04.2023 to 01.05.2023.
Candidates may please note that the Option-cum-Preference(s) can
be revised only during the aforesaid period and Option-cum-Preference(s)
last submitted by the candidate will be treated as final. Candidates who fail
to exercise their Option-cum-Preference(s) during the aforesaid period, shall
not be given any further opportunity for submission of their Option-cumPreference(s) and such candidates will not be considered for inclusion in the
final merit list/final selection. Therefore, the candidates who have appeared
in Tier-II are required to mandatorily exercise their Option-cum-Preference(s)
for consideration of their candidature in the final merit list/final selection in
CGLE-2022.

PwBD candidates must ensure that they prefer only those posts identified as suitable for their disabilities. Allocation of
posts will be made as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination on the
basis of ‘merit-cum-preference of posts’. The candidature of a PwBD
candidate will get cancelled by the User Department concerned if he/ she
gets selected for a post that is not identified as suitable for his/ her
disabilities.
It is reiterated that the candidates will not be provided any further
opportunity for the exercise of Option-cum-Preference beyond the dates
mentioned above. Any grievance received in this regard in any form like Post,
Fax, Email, by hand, etc. shall not be entertained by the Commission and
will be summarily rejected
