The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is responsible for conducting various examinations for recruitment to government posts in India, and one of the most sought-after exams among the aspirants is the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam. The SSC CHSL 2022 exam is being conducted for recruitment of various posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO) in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.

The SSC CHSL 2022 Exam will be conducted in two tiers, and the first tier, CHSL 2022 Tier 1 Exam, was conducted from 09/03/23 TO 21/03/23, and the number of candidates appearing for the exam was recently revealed through an RTI reply.
The RTI reply stated that 1,375,936 candidates appeared for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam in 2022. It’s worth noting that the total number of applications for the exam was 32.35 lakh, indicating that around 42.52% of the total applicants actually appeared for the Tier 1 exam.
